Hello from Wiltshire
Good evening/afternoon/morning, wherever you are in the world.
I've been lurking and learning for about a month now and decided it was about time to come out of the shadows.
Brief history, born and raised in Galloway for 19 years.
Served in the army for 22 years as a technician.
Now a civilian, but still serving the mod in a different manner.
Have lived within one mile of Stonehenge for the past 20 years.
Never worn a kilt, I know a real shocker. At my cousins wedding in November my uncle, a cockney, asked if I would wear a kilt for his sons wedding in October this year........and so the journey began.
Have enjoyed learning from you guys/girls and will continue to do so.
Enough of me for now, nice to meet you all.

Well met new friend. I've only worn a kilt for a few years but known about my Scottish heritage for 50+ years. Glad to have you among us.

Whilst I still love Scotland, I hate the rain, so I doubt you descendants ever regretted moving. Galloway is a beautiful place, when the mist clears enough to see it. Thanks for the welcome.
