Hello from Wisconsin USA
Hiya all. I'm in Madison, Wis, typical American mutt but Scot surname and pride. I've been to Scotland 6 times since 2001, road bike tour to start and then on holiday with my wife roughly every couple of years; hope to be back in 2018 but definitely will be in 2019. We fly in via Edinburgh or Glasgow and then travel via train to the Highlands, primarily staying in self-catering accommodations for a week or two. To-date it's been Morar, Ullapool, Dornie, Outer Hebrides (Stornoway, Leverburgh, Castebay), return stay in Ullapool, Portree a couple times. I wear my Lord of the Isles kilt rarely although the mail just delivered my new sporran and high stockings which I will wear on the 4th of July next Tuesday, with my kilt of course but somewhat casually with a button down shirt. As a former non-member I have already received advice on this forum reading your posts, thank you all.
Slàinte! David

Well met David. If you need a valet for any trip to Scotland, many members will gladly raise a hand and volunteer for the task. My envy aside to all your visits, I'm glad to have you join us.
