Hello, and welcome to X Marks.
Can you help us out with some more details of what you are looking for?
Is Hoops the name of the Tartan you are looking for or is this a particular style of kilt?
Do you have a picture of what you are looking for?

I wear the kilt because: Swish + Swagger = Swoon.

Well met auldjeannie2. Does "hoops" relate to basketball? If so the Celtics (American team of Boston) makes sense. We've got the gents that will steer you straight either way. Thanks for joining our "Rabble". Welcome from Oxford, MS. USA
Look to forum: how to accessorize your kilt.

Hi, Jeannie, and welcome to X Marks from the bottom end of Africa.
I hope you track down the tartan you are looking for and get your grandson a kilt in it.
My daughter-in-law is expecting a wee lad to be born at the end of March. I plan to get him an infant’s kilt.
Of course you need to get your own tartan skirt too (if you don’t have one already).
Regards,
Mike

Hoops is a nickname for the Celtic FC.
I did find a page on the Scotweb site for a kids kilt in the Celtic tartan but it was discontinued. You might contact them and see if that's still the case. Otherwise, google is your friend. I found a few links but they were all for adult kilts.

Thanks for the info ratspike. I had the correct shaped ball, just the wrong court, as they say. Still learning on this side of the pond. Jeannie; never mind me.
