Heya
Hey, everybody! I'm a 16 year old boy who has been obsessed with my Irish and Scottish ancestors since I was ten. One of my school teachers introduced me to this sight when I expressed an interest in getting into kilt making. I would just like to say hi to all the people of the world that share my interest and love of kilts and other such things. Oh, yeah, I live in the Fenton area of Mid-Michigan.

Hello Irishnut,
Welcome to XMarks from the middle of Thetford Forest in Norfolk, England. Is that Fenton in the USA or Fenton in the UK?
Regards

Hi from St Louis, Missouri.
My 16 year-old son is also a member of this board. We're more Irish and Welsh in this family and don't know a whole lot of our history, but I enjoy reading about it!

from Chicago. Two resources - you can download x-kilt instructions free from this board and you may want to consider ordering Barb Tewksbury's (BarbT) "Art of Kiltmaking" which has great instructions for making a kilt by hand.

Welcome from the highlands of Central Massachusetts. Good for you getting involved in your heritage this way. I wish I had something like this when I was your age.
