Hi from Australia
Hi all, I have lurked for a good few years on this forum, learning interesting things and enjoying the lovely pics that are posted from time to time.
I am a piper and very keen on all sort of fabric and textile crafts, as well as bagpipe restoration and various other “making” hobbies.
I am very hopeful of attending the Australian Kilt Kamp mid 2020. Can’t wait!

Welcome from sunny 40 degree Celsius Perth Western Australia (4 December 2019). Where is Kilt Kamp in Australia 2020? I did suggest hosting it in Margaret River Western Australia however have heard nothing since. What's the update please?
Regards

Hi Garth - apparently no, it is in the US as usual this year. Not in WA. Just got an email overnight..... Shame. My mistake.
I am in very sunny Mount Isa currently, properly hot here at the moment. Back to Adelaide on Monday for some more temperate weather and piping and kilt wearing.

Hi all,
It's not quite as definite as that. I emailed Garth to say that I won't know for another few weeks whether I will have a major commitment to travel to Africa three times in the next 8 months, which would make it tough for me to do a KK in Australia too. But that might fall through, so I may have more time than I thought!
Regardless, Kilt Kamp WILL be in the US at the end of June, in Upstate New York. I haven't put up an announcement yet, though.
