I have been lurking here for a loooooong time and finally posted something, so it is probably time for an intro. I have been interested in kilts for several years, but could never really afford them. Whenever I have enough saved up to get even an inexpensive option, it seems that something else comes up that is more pressing. Things are looking better now, and I should be able to order one by mid-April. The goal is to be kilted by Memorial Day. This forum is a great place to learn about kilts, and a great place to find cool and quirky people. It's great to be a part.
Wow! Been lurking since Aug 04? Glad that you finally decided to introduce yourself. Don't be shy, post away. I hope that you are able to get the kilt ordered, you will love it. Oh yeah, Welcome!
I'm glad you finally decided to post -we'll all be rooting for you and your kilted memorial day!
Welcome to our little corner of the web!
Paul Murray Kilted in Detroit! Now that's tough.... LOL
I was mostly waiting to actually get my first kilt before posting, but time and money tended to slip away. I have been lurking long enough to know all about the green tights.

You'll find the posting is much more fun than lurking. As far as the cost of kilts... Yes, it seems like a lot of money to lay on the counter all at once. But to put it in perspective, 1 good kilt = $1.50 / day for year or 20 boxes of beer or 8 bottles of single malt etc. Given that a good kilt will last a lifetime and beyond... the cost is pennies a day. A good value methinks blu
Welcome aboard. Does anyone know what the record for lurking is?
See, we even welcome lurkers!! Glad to have you here!
