Hi from Kansas

Afternoon all.

I'm a Scoutmaster from Kansas who will be getting his Wood Badge beads in the middle of June. I had a list of things I was going to "reward" myself with when I completed my tickets and getting a kilt was one of them. So today I ordered a MacLaren from SWK that I look forward to wearing at my beading ceremony. I also got another leader who also completed his tickets to get a kilt too, and he is getting beaded the same night.

Don't have my first kilt in hand yet and I am already looking for a green utility style one that will go good with my Scout uniform for daily wear. I'm being told by the wife that I cost too much.

Looking forward to being a part of this community, and I guess the "required" model shot will come next month.

Thanks for the welcomes. Looking forward to getting it in and trying it out. I can't say that I have seen a kilt around here except for the gentleman that plays the pipes, so it'll be something new here.

I'm kinda going nuts with my purchases for my first kilt right now too, but so far that wife's not too concerned. Heavy focus on the "so far". ;)
