Hi from Maryland
Hi. Mike from Maryland. I got my first kilt just over 2 years ago to wear at Scout summer camp (it's an olive green utility kilt that matches the uniform perfectly) and was great in the Virgina heat and humidity. Just this past summer I got a more traditional kilt, and enjoy wearing both of them, and am workign on wearing them more.

Welcome to the rabble Mike. Are you still in the BSA? Scout or Scouter? You will find a lot of new friends here, even if you don't meet any of us. BTW, there are several members who live in Frederick too.

I'm a Scouter, Eagle class of 1986. My son is Life and well on his way to Eagle (his goal is to get it at a younger age than I was, and pretty sure he'll make it). I'm originally from Minnesota, Twin Cities area, relocated to Frederick about 5 years ago.

Welcome brother Eagle.
Eagle class of '85, My Old KY Home Council (now Lincoln Heritage Council). Still registered (40 years in Scouting now), OA Brotherhood, Wood Badge SR-211 (I used to be a Bear ...), past SM, now ASM of my home troop.
There is a forum group for Scouters on here (Kilted Scouters - look under the Community drop-down above for the Groups link), but most of the groups seem to be sporadically posted to.
