Hi, my name is...
Theodore!
I started attending the St. Andrew's games in Detroit a little more than twenty years ago. I fell in love with that whole event, and with Highland games and kilts in general. I've been browsing the site here a lot in the last few months, and I'm very excited that this doesn't have to be such a solitary pursuit :-)
By the way, I'm in New Jersey, as of last year. I'll miss my old local event, and would be delighted to hear from anyone about fun times to be had on the east coast!

Well met Theodore. There are more events for you "up North" than down here in Mississippi. I'm sure the group will get you informed to events near you. Glad to have you with us.

Greetings from central New Jersey! While I'm not a native New Jerseyian, a fellow also here in Jersey opened my eyes to the NJ Kilt Fest in Mercer County in September. Never heard of it before but I looks interesting so I'm thinking I'm gonna check it out.

Thanks, Rob, I was intrigued by that as well. Summer's filling up fast, but I'm definitely interested, as long as I'm in town. Nice to meet a fellow transplant to New Jersey! And an Irishman! Have you heard of any good irish trad music here?
