Hi from NZ

Hi all. I am a kilt maker living in New Zealand. I trained 20 years ago at Keith Kilt School and have made kilts on and off since I arrived in NZ. I am now a full time kilt maker working from home.

People are often surprised to find an English kilt maker living in NZ! In my defence I married a Scot and both our boys were born in Edinburgh ;-)

I’ve come across this forum a few times when searching/researching unusual tartans so I decided to join.

Looks like kilts are now international! (I've known that for a long time really.) I'm a Scotsman living in the English midlands. I love Edinburgh (though I come from the rival city, Glasgow). I'd love to go up there for a holiday, but the Covid-19 lockdown is keeping me away.
