    hi what age and tartan is my kilt ??

    Modern Gordon (my first kilt) and it looks pleated to the stripe at the back (rather than to the sett of the tartan).
    Looks like a military style kilt and it has seen some action or is decades old.

    It looks like a military kilt from the green tabs and waistband. It's in Gordon tartan so the suggestion would be it's a Gordon Highlanders Kilt. Can't make out the writing to date it, (other than the ink drawn "24"). Judging from the repair to the buckle strap and the moth holes in the pleats, it has some age to it.
