I知 as new and ignorant as they come w/respect to kilts. While I don稚 have one currently, that will be changing soon.
When I知 not staring at the walls in the office working, I really like to be outdoors or at least dream about paddling a kayak, hiking; camping; backpacking; cooking in Dutch ovens, finding old cast iron for restoration and hoarding; hanging out in the backyard in a hammock. Much of that tends to be much more fun when one is dressed comfortably and that is what brings me here.
As for kilts, I知 learning about options and looking for something light weight and cool for South Texas heat/humidity.
While I have great respect for traditional things, I'm more concerned about function and comfort than authenticity for now.
There aren't any retailers close to me that stock kilts and I'd like to try some before I buy. I'll be up in the Dallas/Fort Worth/North Texas area in a week or so and welcome any suggestions of places to check out that might have kilts in stock.
