Howdy-Do from Driftwood, Texas
I was bred and buttered in Lubbock, Texas (Howdy, Amarillo!), but now live near Austin. I have recently become interested in the Scottish side of my family after attending a ceremony honoring my distant cousin, William DePriest Sutherland, who was killed at the Alamo. Anglo-Irish, Choctaw and a touch o' Sutherland.
I have an Irish National kilt from SWK and am anticipating the imminent arrival of an 8 yd Black Watch from Macdonald Sporrans.

Hi, Jack, and welcome to X Marks from the bottom end of Africa.
I have no Irish ancestry myself, but my wife has a touch of Country Antrim in her (a few generations back).
What part of Ireland is your family from?
Regards,
Mike
