Howdy from Ontario
I have checked out the forum in the past and been impressed by the posts and the general civilty of the members here but only recently became a member. It seems the mods and the members themselves do a good job of policing the forum. I believe my arrival here was originally from a link at BushcraftUSA and I look forward to learning from the fine folks that call this place home.
Although I have had an interest in things celtic since forever I have yet to take the kilt plunge. In the interest of full disclosure and despite the fact that I am sure it would make the members here cringe the closest I have is an Instakilt that one of my sisters picked up for me when she was down east, and yes I actually wore it to go see another sister when she was in hospital for a very extended stay. So even without a kilt I have still been asked if I was regimental (several times in fact). One milestone down!

Hello, also from Southern California! I, too, thought about kilts for quite a while, and going to highland games kilted gave me the confidence to move forward.
