Vancouver Island is my favourite place on earth after Scotland.
I have cousins who live in Cobble Hill, Sooke, and Nanaimo.
On various visits to the Island I have stayed at Victoria, Parksville, Sooke and Courtenay.
I have never been up as far north as Port Hardy. Furthest north I've been on the Island is the Seymour Narrows, a little way north of Campbell River.
You really must get yourself down to Victoria for the Scottish Games in May where you will meet many of the other Island kilt enthusiasts.
