I came here looking for advice about how to make kilt flashes for my husband, but I discovered so much more! I've only been peeking around for a few days and there is SO much about kilts that I don't know! But I'm eager to learn, since my husband is very proud of his kilt!

In fact, I was in Jo-Ann's today looking for green fabric (for the flashes) and everyone in line oohed and ahhed over the kilt and wanted to know everything about it! I had fun showing it off!

BTW, the Clan Scott Newsletter last spring had a quick and easy method of making flashes utilizing tartan fabric, Steam-a-seam, and iron on hem tape.
