Hello my new friends!
I have visited this site several times, and now am joining the fun. I have one kilt which I remade from a Pendleton tartan pleated skirt. Looks OK for a $20 kilt! But now I have an "ex-hire" MacNeil tartan kilt winging its way here from Scotland. Should be here in a few days. I plan to wear it for the Treasure Valley Celtic Fair and Highland Games, which will be September 23 & 24th. Come join us here in Boise for this event. I love to make stuff, so am in process of remaking a green leather purse into a Rob Roy style sporran. Also, inspired by some posts here, I bought a tweed blazer and will confidently (?) cut and sew to make a kilt coat of it. I will try to post pictures as these projects slowly progress.
