Jumping in. I've heard the water is fine. ;-)
This is my first post. I just discovered xmarksthescot.com this past week.
I also wore my first kilt this past week on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I've been wanting to acquire a kilt (and everything that comes with it!) for years. As I approach 60 years of age in March I figured I'd better do so while I still could!
Trying to get acclimated to this site and already having difficulties! I can't seem to upload an avatar image or a photo! Every time I click on "upload image" nothing happens.
Anyone have a tip?
UPDATE: I switched from using Safari as my browser to Google Chrome and it worked just fine. Sorry to trouble anyone!
Many thanks and Happy Holidays to all!
Kevin

Thanks ... I figured it out!
Apparently, the problem was I was using Safari as my browser. When I tried doing it via Google Chrome, it worked just fine.
Many thanks and have a great day,
Kevin

Welcome from Canada’s wine country. Better late than never, you’ll find it addictive I’m up to 3 kilts now. I still don’t have this picture adding thing down yet

Three?!
Thank you for the words of welcome. Three kilts?! Where do you find the opportunity to wear them? (a question my wife and daughter have asked me repeatedly!) I've been assuming some holidays, perhaps a black tie event at some point, and a Highlands game over the summer.
Best wishes and happy holidays,
Kevin

Hi Kevin you’ll find most here have more than one kilt, I bought 2 myself all are MacDonald tartans one is a hunting the other the clan tartan in ancient colours, the third one is a modern MacDonald I inherited when my father passed away last year. I wear them to Highland games weddings and such I also wear them to work at least monthly as well as prominent days St Andrew’s day Remembrance Day etc.
Cheers David
