    Kilt Maker in Montana

    Hi Everyone

I am new to this forum and wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My home is Great Falls, Montana, a very beautiful place to live we have mountains, plains, farms, ranches and the Mighty Mo running through our great city. My husband and I breed Scottish Terriers and keep honey bees. My hobbies include mead and liquor making, as well as kilt making (I've made 4, including one that is being worn in Scotland!) and am currently helping to organize the first Celtic Festival in Great Falls for next year. What I do to make money is EMT, and I volunteer with the Cascade County Search and Rescue.

Looking forward to getting to know more people that are kilt wearers.

When in Rome, do as the Romans do. The same goes for Iowa.

Hi Nancy, welcome to Xmarks. You sound like a very capable woman, I`ve never been to the Great Falls area, but I love your state, and I love SAR volunteers.

Welcome Nancy, from SW Washington State. Look forward to your contributions to our community.
Studies have shown that women who gain a few pounds live longer than men who mention it.

Well met Nancy. Always nice to have another member with multi level skills. My interests also include mead, bee tending and EMT. I do wear but can't make a kilt. Kudos to you for that. Welcome from Oxford.

    Welcome to XMarks!
Will you plan on having Highland Games at the Festival? If so, our Idaho chapter of the SAAA may be able to offer some guidance. Let me know and I can put you in touch with some of those great people.
