Kilted in the Mid-South
Finally posting after lurking for tips and advice for the past few years, I'm glad to join the kilted community. Currently I live in Memphis and command Post 1943 of the Scottish American Military Society. I have the formal attire and the military uniforms assembled, but I'm still working on putting together some casual or business attire. I hope to gain new knowledge and insight into finding the rest of my kilt accoutrements. I'm looking forward to talking to everyone and perhaps even bringing my own opinions and experience to the the table.

Welcome!! I'm very curious about the Society? I've not heard of it. Can you tell us more about it?
Edit: Google is a great thing...went and looked it up. You can, of course, still feel free to answer my question. But I did get the basics off of the SAMS website.

Hello and Welcome from Texas! We have a few members who are part of SAMS, so you will fit right in.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
