Kilted Rider
So glad to find a place where talk of kilts is allowed no matter what the context! I look forward to reading and even posting a few questions/comments along the way.
I love to ride my motorcycle with my kilt on. People ask if it's not risky, and I say, I have only burnt my leg on a pipe twice. It won't happen a 3rd time. They say that is not what they meant. So I say Oh, you mean that problem! Well, I say, it's not a problem either. The kilt is only about 18" long, so when it flies up, it never makes it past my neck. I can still see the road just fine. int:

I work at a moped shop and often ride kilted ;)
Glad I'm not the only insane one.
Get on Ebay sometime and google for "Rare Earth Magnets" and get a handful that are about the side of a quarter. I use them to pin down the front of my kilt along the gas tank.. nothing rides up.
(I'm also known to tuck the kilt under me as I sit, but that is more awkward.)

Welcome and Best Regards from the Sun Shine State.
I to love to ride my motorcycle but never ride Kilted. No I don't worry about the kilt flying up in my eyes, I'm more concerned about slidding down the black top in my kilt. Wouldn't want the kilt to go thru that.
I don't believe the idea is to arrive in heaven in a well preserved body! But to slide in side ways,Kilt A' Fly'n! Scream'en "Mon Wha A Ride" Kilted Santas
