    Kiltie from Hertfordshire

    Good morning, Everyone!

Although a Newbie to this message board I have been wearing kilts - tartan, plain and contemporary - since 1970. Alas, anno domini means that most of my old kilts no longer fit but I have recently purchased a fine brown kilt from Richard at Skilts.Click image for larger version.

I am also in the process of buying a black kilt from Union Kilts but their method of sizing seems to be different so their 36 inch waist seems to be a tad small!

    Best wishes,

    Gerry

Well met Gerry. I hope you find a kilt that fits you as well as expected when measuring at home. But, sometimes measuring must be done at the market or under the supervision of the ones sewing the wrap. Glad to have you with us and hope you the best while kilting.

I don't really like buying clothes online because of the sizing problems. I was lucky that I could visit Richard at skilt.co.uk as he is in East London, where he has a large stock in a range of sizes. Union Kilts are in North Wales so it isn't really practical for me to travel there and back in a day.
