Long time lurker from Austin, TX
Hey guys, long time lurker from Austin, TX. I just posted about buying my first custom kilt in the USA Kilts forum, check it out there if you want more info about what I got. I've had a kilt for about 2 years now; I have one traditional, and one utilikilt. I don't wear them often, as my wife doesn't like the attention she thinks they bring to us (which I happen to love).

Hello and welcome from Houston, TX. I hope you like it here. Are you going to the Salado Scottish Gathering and Highland Games this weekend?

I'm thinking about heading up there on Saturday if my wife is cool with it. Any clue what it costs to get in?

$15 per adult and $6 per child. If you come by the "MacIntyre" tent in the clan gathering area, come by as we usually do a group photo with the XMTS group.

from another Austinite.
If you attend Austin Opera's production of "Carmen" 11/11 you should see about about 5 men in kilts in the audience.
