Long-time lurker coming out of the woordwork
Greetings and salutations,
I'm John Moock. My surname is most definitely not Scot (Dad's of German/Danish extraction), however, my mother is a Gray also descended from Coulhouns, Crawfords, Dalziels, and Stewarts. I've been hiding out around here since 2008, but never managed to say anything. I'm going to try to change that.
Part of the reason I was quiet for so long was that I joined this forum while in the Army. Now that I'm a civilian again, I have more time for internet chatter. I've returned to my home state of South Carolina, where I am going back to university, and work for a non-profit veterans mental health initiative.
I recently purchased my first kilt (a 13oz 8-yarder) from Rocky at USAkilts and couldn't be happier with it. I'm already scheming how to buy the next one, along with many, many accessories. I look forward to talking to everyone here. If you're ever in South Carolina, drop a line.
Yours, Aye,
John

John,
Welcome from here in Indiana. Still waiting on my kilt from Rocky and company (only about 4 weeks to go!). I spent 4 years in Greenville, SC back in the late 70's. Went to college there. Lovely area.
Enoy your kilt and have a good week.
