G'day. I have been searching many sites on Scots Gael heritage. I happen to hail from Down Under. My heritage comes from around Killiecrankie in Scotland. Robertson of Donnachaigh. I understand my Great Grandfather came from Scotland to New Zealand. I believe the times were known as the 'Highland Clearances'. I was married recently wearing Robertson Hunting. Wife is of Clan Buchanan. Piper was a Robertson so matching Kilt. Perfection.
Personally, the more I learn about this strong, powerful, blood heritage, the more I am drawn to the Ancient Robertson tartan.

Welcome from a Scotsman living in the West Midlands of England. I know the area around Killiecrankie. Some of my ancestors came from Perthshire, and my aunt used to live by Loch Tummel. A lovely spot.
