military kilt kit

Hello,

I'm new to kilts & a new member & would like to hear from other Australian members in N.S.W. who like the military kilted uniforms like we have in the Australian army/army reserves (I'm not in the army myself), but I like that look - black watch kilt, glengarry, spats/gaiters & short sleeve khaki shirt. Who would like to meet up from time to time & get into uniform & practise military drill, discipline & marching. Is anyone interested? Any advise? Where can I get the gear?

stillwater kilts in their "economy kilts" section has a good pakistani wool black watch at a great price. however, if you want a military spec kilt, i think you will need to look elsewhere. there are quite a few custom kilt makers here who do incredible things.

Throw in some pipes and I would love to get together. Now the only problem is the distance. Hmmmmm. Welcome from the highlands of Central Massachusetts, USA, North America, Western Hemisphere. We could hardly be farther apart physically and still on the planet but I love my slouch hat and my Gordon Highlander kilt. Cheers!
