    Morning from Irving

    Good Morning

I have three kilts, only one plaid (Black Watch)that I wear to the games and other festivals as well as the occasional music gig. I might get one in Stewart colors in the future. I have lost weight since retirement and need it taken in. I have one modern that is too large and am waiting on a stumptown kilt. I am still looking for a skien dubh.

I am mostly a barefooter and have modified some kilt hose for that purpose.

    Well Come from Killeen, TX

Glad to have you aboard! Note that many Scots were barefoot, though not neccasarily by choice.

Well met new friend. Glad to have another "mud-dauber" (grew up bare footed as a child) among us. I've been in boots, as my first choice in foot ware, since the first day of school (55 years ago). Though I have better shoes for when I am kilted and not working.

A warm Scottish welcome from middle England.
If you are going to do it, do it in a kilt!

Welcome from Denver, Colorado! I just had my kilt resized after loosing a great deal of weight. The process for doing so is provided in the links provided below.

Moving buckles - how much is too much??
