If you can’t find such an existing tartan, you could use this opportunity to design one. Fairly sure a search for tartan design apps would find quite a few.

I’m not sure there is a US Armed Forces tartan. All I’ve seen are branch or organization specific - USA, USN, USMC, USAF, SeaBees, etc. Maybe the American Heritage tartan from USA Kilts would be of interest.

Just curious, what is it that you don't like? I ask because it can be woven in different shades of the colors which would make it appear rather different.

As a US Army veteran I also disagree with the Army tartan snipers - never wore blue when I was in ['73-79]. If you read up on that tartan that was to honor the designer's unit. Here's one called Scottish American Military you might like.

Be easier IF you were Canadian...guessing there's a tartan for their merged armed forces.

Yeah, Actually I'm not directly related to any specific branch.
But I'm a patriot and want to get a Heritage kilt. I think Scottish American Heritage suggested by a lad, would be the one I'm going for.

Thank you so much Rabble for your help. Now it's time to add one more kilt in my closet.

Do you mean what I understand you are writing? ALL armed forces, or limiting your interest just to the US of A armed forces?
