A new Boston Kilt addict
Hi all,
I have been lurking around the site for a couple of years now, and have enjoyed a lot of what I have read. I have wanted a kilt for years, but I just never had the time or motivation to get one.
Well I finally went ahead and did it and I love it. In fact just ordered Kilt number two.
My wife thought it was crazy (accused me of having a midlife crisis), my twin boys thought I was crazy. One of my sons refused to leave the house with me wearing it. That was about a year ago now.
I just ordered my second Kilt along with two more Kilts for both of my boys!!! Yep, even the son that refused to leave the house with his father wearing his Kilt. He asked me the other day if I could order one for him to try. He wants to wear it to a Renaissance fair we have here in the northeastern Mass area, he told me it would be easer to get used to it because a lot of people would be in costumes and he would blend in.

Welcome, Welcome, WELCOME to a new member from Boston, one of THE VERY FINEST cities in America! I'm a dyed-in-the-wool-Chicagoan, but My God, do I LOVE Boston, and can't wait to visit her again for a thousand reasons; here's one: the only people who dislike the NY Yankees more than White Sox fans (e.g., myself) are Red Sox fans! And anyone who lives in a town with a sports team called the Celtics had bloody well better own a kilt! Slainte, brother! What took you so long? And yes, "kilt addict" IS the correct term--mark my words.

Welcome from 100 Mile House in British Columbia. I visited Boston year ago, and loved the ambience.

Well done and welcome. I'm facing a showdown with my son when I visit next month. I wish I hadn't waited for my midlife crisis before taking the plunge.
