Hello All, I was asked to introduce myself to the board. I am a 41 year old guy who likes kilts. I have a significant other and a 16 year old son. I have been interested in kilts since I was a child and saw a schoolfriend of mine in the city parade with his father in kilts. I have from that time found them cool and intesting. About 2 years ago i finally broke down and bought a black watch tartan from tatanweb and have not looked back. I have also bought 4 other utilikilts and am saving up for another wool kilt. Maybe from 21st century kilts. I wear my kilts after work all the time. I would not wear them at work only because I work with a spray painter sometimes and would kill kilts. I would rather kill pants. I will post some pictures soon. Thanks.
WELCOME to the forum! It sounds like you are really getting your feet wet. Do tell us when you get a chance more of your kiltied life. Xmark is just the place for it. Again welcome Bill.

Bill, Welcome to the board. Great to have you here. I think I may have already done this under your question to Hamish. If so, you are twice welcomed!

Welcome, Bill... Don't forget to pop some photos onto your gallery section when you get a chance. Cheers, blu (Hmmm... guess I'd better do the same!)
Hi Bill, welcome to the board! I'm a signwriter and often use paint, I agree that it is not a good thing to do in a kilt, (along with skiing, riding motorbikes, scuba diving and bungi-jumping - all which have been covered on this site). Post a piccie when you can!
Bill, welcome. Grab a pint and pull up a chair.
Welcome Bill, good to have you on board. David
