New Member from California (and Largs, Ayrshire)
Gentlemen (and Gentleladies)
My wife and I enjoyed the Burns Supper in Scotts Valley last night. We were amazed and delighted by the occasion. Thank you Star and Jamie and Tanner for inviting us. And thank you to everybody (especially Madalyn in the kitchen) for all their work to make this happen.
My wife and I are native born Scots from Ayrshire. We've been living in the States for 12 years and have attended a Burns Suppers every year. Last night's "do" was as good as the best. Photos and story: http://clanmills.com/Homepages/2012/BurnsWeekend.shtml
I often wear one of my 3 kilts. The tartans are Largs (where I was born), California (where I live) and Hunter (which I use as the wallpaper on my web site). I've been thinking about my alma mater The University of Glasgow (http://www.tartanregister.gov.uk/tar....aspx?ref=1360). X Marks the spot is similar and very beautiful. So I'm in the market for a new kilt in your tartan.

Great pics, looks like a great night of fun and entertainment.
Here is a link to an old thread about Glasgow University tartan:-

The tartan is woven by Lochcarron and made up into kilts by ALD Kilts of Clydebank and can be ordered through the University.
