New member from Cocoa, FL.
Hello. I am of Irish descent, and will be getting married soon in the Isle of Skye, Scotland. I found this forum to be a very beneficial resource about purchasing and wearing a kilt appropriately. I am very new to wearing one, though I always admired those that did. Getting married gave me the excuse to purchase my own, and I am grateful for all of the insight regarding the etiquette of wearing the kilt in Scotland versus the US. Thank you for letting me become a part of this community.
May you have warm words on a cool evening, a full moon on a dark night, and a smooth road all the way to your door. - Irish Blessing

Well met new friend. Consider one thing, a kilt is an item that can be worn any time (unlike most things worn at weddings). You'll read among the threads that anytime can be "time to kilt up". Welcome to the Rabble.
