New member from Maryland, USA
Greetings,
I recently purchased my first kilt and then stumbled onto this great forum. I look forward to learning from those with more knowledge than me about the kilt and all of it's history.
My first kilt is in the registered tartan pattern of the Prince George's County Police, only one of about 19 registered police tartans in the world, the police agency I gave about 30 years to and now I proudly wear their tartan colors.
Thank you for having me...see you out there.

Well met and welcome new friend. Many of our members belonged to organizations that have a tartan. My first kilt was in the US Army tartan (a brotherhood I am honored to claim as my other clan). Glad to have you with us and I look forward to your participation.

Hello and welcome from Southern California. I'm also wearing a US Army tartan when I'm kilted.
