New member Northeast PA
Just to introduce myself, I am from Northeast PA, my connection to Kilts is my grandparents, they came from the Highlands of Scotland. I enjoy sewing and thought about making my own kilts , in doing research found this site. I have enjoyed reading different posts and learning a lot. I am off to Scotland this August for the tattoo and sight seeing.

Welcome to the site from Norfolk UK,
Enjoy yourself on your visit, I'm up there this weekend, remember to wrap up warm at the tattoo, it's often very cold up on those stands! The privileged few (invited guests only, I think) in the boxes get issued with blankets for the legs and soup at half time!

Welcome from the Highlands of Central Massachusetts. The world championship pipe band competition is on August 15th in Glasgow. Perth and North Berwick, (both near Edinburgh), are on the preceding weekend. Alex Cunningham, (cesna152towser), will probably be at one of those.

Hello and welcome from Houston, TX! In 2012, I spent a vacation in Doylestown and an area near Erwinna (both in Tinicum Twp) working on my genealogy. Also, I have second cousins that live near Scranton. It's beautiful up there in September! I also used my time up there to go to the Celtic Classic in Bethlehem.
