Hi "rabble"! I just joined and I see that it is traditional to say hello in this area, so, "hello"! I am the wife of a kilt-wearing man, and I try to support his hobby/fashion sense/identity (what would you call it?). My support manifests in not just permission to buy kilts (hey, our money's got to be spent somewhere), but in lending my limited sewing ability to getting those kilts to fit, since he's not quite an "off the rack" size and shape. I am glad to belong to your group, where I hope to learn more about ways to do that, from all of you who have been there/done that. Thanks!

Well met and Hello from Mississippi, where there are more than a few of us that are not quite, "off the rack," yet free to mingle among the masses. Welcome.

Welcome from Alabama.
Your kilted love must consider you a dream as if I were to hint that my bride consider altering my kilt, I'd be welcomed with a "your out of your mind, blank stare."

Welcome from the highlands of central Massachusetts down here in New England. You might learn to make kilts. It would benefit you both and could become a fun, profit-making activity. You'd also meet lots of new people.
