Hi all,
I found this forum a few days ago while researching details on a series of kits ranging from 1910-1930 that I am preparing to enjoy formal dining outings with a group of friends. I have always wanted a kilt as my family heritage is Scottish (Armstrong), and I plan for my kilt and associated articles to form the basis of my clothing for this activity. The great advantage for me is that it seems the only substantial changes in mens kilted clothing over that preiod are shirts (and possibly shoes--see my second post )!
My main reason for this first post (asside from an introduction) is to thank the posters that have already contributed information in other threads from which I have gained a good deal of knowledge.
Looking forward to a whole lot more learning on the forum!
David.
