Greetings! I am new to this board, and have found it to be a great resource. My name is Dick Passmore, and I'm a descendant of the Clan Gordon. I recently purchased my first (not to be last) kilt... a dress Gordon. It is eight yards of 16 oz pure wool heaven! I don't know who the previous owner was (bought it second hand at Scottish Imports (Hamilton), but it is in perfect condition. I am in the market for the rest of the accessories now. I have started making a Sgian Dubh, but it may fall in the way of Claidhmor (3/4 finished, and sitting on a shelf) if I don't keep at it! I am a father of 5... three sons, two daughters, and live in the countryside. We are currently working on setting up an animal sanctuary here. I guess I could bore you with the details of my work (Maintenance Mechanic) or my union (Chief Steward of our local with the Steelworkers), but I have said enough for now! Bydand!
Welcome aboard. If you are interested in kilts and want to have a good time at the same time you've come to the right place. Slainte!
