New to X Marks
Hi all-
Looking forward to participating more in this forum. I ran accross it by accident while doing research on making a kilt. I'm the first in my family to really take pride in my Scottish heritage and a late bloomer onto the kilt wearing scene. (I'm 52!). But at 6'5" and 230 lbs, I realized that off the rack casual kilts werent for me. So, now I can add novice kilt maker to my hobbies. I've already begun one (non-clan tartan) as a practice run using a great deal of the information I discovered on this forum.
Thanks!
Tim

Welcome, Tim, from Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley! Thanks for the introduction.
This site is a great resource, as you have already discovered...I look forward to hearing more about your kilt-making exploits. And in case noone has warned you yet, it can become addictive...

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
