New to XMarks the Scot
Greetings from Hampton Roads, VA.
I am new to this site, but not to Kilts. Brought my first kilt in 1988 (Macpherson Red). Became a member of Clan Macpherson same year. Later joined the Scottish Tartan Society and learned to wear the Small Kilt and the Great Kilt.
I buy whatever the local weaver (store in Gastonia, NC has in stock), same they did in the past at the cottage weaver. I choose what I like.
I prefer to wear the small kilt and have several. I did recently purchase two additional kilts from St. Kilda at the Williamsburg Scottish Festival. I have come to know Ralph at the Pittsburgh, PA location.
I have Macpherson Red, Macpherson Wilson's Pattern No 43, Galloway Red (Muted), Galloway Red (Modern), and Black Watch. I do have a Macpherson Dress Grey and Black Watch and several other unamed tartans small kilts.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…
