Hello

Greetings to all my fellow kilt wearers.

I am new to this site and am trying to navigate my way around. I did post a similar message to this but unfortunately it was on somebody elses thread - apologies. How do I get my details into the members list? :confused:

I have been wearing a kilt for just over a year now and gained the confidence to wear it to the Scotland V Wales rugby match in Edinburgh last March, no one seemed to mind and in fact it got me talking to (and drinking with) a large number of Scottish fans.

The other evening I went on a ghost tour of Shrewsbury which is just over the border in England from my house in Wales, and wore my kilt - no one seemed to bat an eyelid.

Bore Da Calmac ... Great to see someone else living in Wales and welcome to X Marks. I'm in South Wales. You obviously follow the 6 Nations ... have you been down to Cardiff Cilted when Wales have played at home. You will certainly not be the only one. I can honestly say that it does'nt matter where you wear you Cilt anywhere, nobody really takes any notice. Are you coming to the Millenium Stadium at all to watch Wales this year. If you are perhaps we could meet up for a beer. The wife and I always are in the city to watch the matches on a big screen in one of the pubs. What tartan is that in your avatar.

Bore da - Yes I certainly follow the 6 nations. Went down to the Millenium Stadium in my kilt to watch the Wales V Fuji game in November. - it was the best entertainment of the evening! Hoping to come down on Sunday 12 Feb to the Scotland game - would love to meet up.

Tartan is MacDonald - same as my kilt.

Welcome! I believe Hank has the membership list configured so that it only shows members that have made at least one post. Now that you have posted, your are appearing in the membership list. :mrgreen:
