Hey ya'll! A newbie here. Actually a native Texan but I live in Oklahoma. I can see Texas from my house, almost. I have a kilt that I am currently re-building. It's not my family clan tartan (Cunningham) but one of my ancestors (Burnett). I have the hose, flash, and belt. I made my own sporran from a old leather purse I found at Goodwill. It had one tassel so I made two more for it from some of the excess leather. I'll post a pic of it soon, if anyone wants to see it. I want to eventually have a full Prince Charlie outfit.

Will I be seeing some of you at the Texas Scottish Festival in June?

I'm hoping to be at the Texas Scottish Festival. Not sure what day yet (fingers crossed nothing comes up... hubby was feeling horrible last year so we were only out there for a few hours. Looking forward to it this year!)
