Scottish heritage most certainly! Ready for my first kilt absolutely! Surprised at the cost - boy howdy! I'm looking at a Bell of The Borders tartan, not easily found, but whenever found always pricey. Gearing up for the four hundred and plenty dollar expenditure. I don't think I have any other single item of clothing at even half that price. Then there's all the other accessories - it is not inexpensive - to be proud of one's Scottish heritage. But never-the-less, I'm ready to be kilted!

Welcome from Roseville, California!
The cost of kilting doesn't get less over time, but I can assure you the value is significantly greater than the cost. Youl'll understand more once you get one. We look forward to the pics when you score!

Welcome to the rabble Jack. Maybe you should try Stillwater Kilts for your first one. (I did and I'm still wearing it with pride.) Did you catch the Highland festival at Zoo Montana in June? There's another one in Jackson, WY the 19th and 20th of August. Not too far a drive from Laurel, and beautiful, especially if you take it up over Bear Tooth Pass through the parks.
Cheers from Bozeman,
Ron
Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.
