Newbie in Ohio
Name is Kevin, and I'm from the Dayton, Ohio area. Been wanting a kilt ever since I was a kid seeing my mom's great uncles wearing them to family gatherings (they had all come to the US from Scotland as teens), and I finally got the chance to take the leap last year. Found this site when doing a little research after not getting any objections when I told my fiance that I planned to wear my kilt when we got married. Not that that was much of a shock given that her dad and two brothers already had kilts that they plan to wear. Now glad to have found that not everyone looks at you like you have two heads when you say "I think I'll wear my kilt to dinner tonight." Enjoying the conversation I've been reading on here and now looking forward to getting to throw in my two cents every once in awhile.

Kevin, from Barrie, Ontario. It's always good to see new people (I've not been here long either). You will find a lot of people here who may look at you twice if you don't wear your kilt to dinner!!
