Newbie from Ontario, Canada
Hi! I was doing some research on my clan tartan and kept coming across this site. I've always been interested in the wearing of kilts(I even tried to talk my husband into wearing one for our wedding. No go ). I live in Southern Ontario and am a knitter by trade. I am descended from the Young clan, my 3x-great grandfather emigrated to Canada and settled in Alberta in the 1860's when he was 18. From him have descended a large family, many with an interest in our Scottish heritage. I'm currently working on my Scottish family tree on Ancestry.ca so finding this site was serendipitous!

Welcome from Vancouver BC....from another ex-Ontarian who grew up in Woodstock Ont.
EPITAPH: Decades from now, no one will know what my bank balance looked like, it won't matter to anyone what kind of car I drove, nor will anyone care what sort of house I lived in. But the world will be a different place, because I did something so mind bafflingly eccentric that my ruins have become a tourist attraction.
