Newbie from Phoenix, AZ
Howdy all. I'm a kilt newbie from Phoenix. I've been thinking about getting into the kilt scene for a while now, but finally got off of my backside and decided to do something about it very recently.
I haven't actually bought a kilt yet as Utilikilt has a back-order of the Mocker kilt that I was looking to get. I'm considering buying a USAKilts casual kilt in USAF Tartan in the meantime.
I think I could fairly easily jump into daily wear of them, but we'll see. Right now, one of the biggest hurdles I am facing is my company HR department. I seem to have vapor-locked them by asking them what the company policy was on them. That was almost a week ago. Initially they asked a few questions and then crickets.
Anyhow, I am also a Freemason and the President of a Masonic Riders Association, so I ride motorcycles too. Now I have to figure out how to keep the kilt from flapping in the breeze, as it were.

Hello and welcome to X Marks!
I came of age in the Valley and now live in North Dakota and sometimes wonder why when in the midst of winter. That's when the only thing between you and the North Pole is a barbed wire fence and it's down!

I tend to ride the bike everywhere, unless I need to carry something, like the kids, that won't fit in the saddlebags, then I break out the car.....heheheh

from Reno, NV. You can't go wrong with a USAKilt I have 2 casuals and 1 semi-traditional. I pretty much live in the casuals in the summer.

That's kinda what I was thinking too. I would start with a casual or two and go from there. I think I can foresee this becoming an expensive habit....hehehehe
