Newbie from San Antonio, TX

Hey everyone!

I'm Kate from San Antonio (though I live in Phoenix right now). I'm glad to be here as I've been doing a lot of genealogical research of late trying to re-establish my family's links to our Scottish roots. I've yet to join up with any societies or organizations nor have I had the opportunity to even go to a Highland Games!!! But I'm eager to learn more and connect with those old bloodlines again.

Also, once I've narrowed down my clan colors, I'd love to know any advice for garb for women. I've seen lots of information for the guys out there, but less for us ladies, and I'd love to try and get things right once I start trying to attend events.
