Newbie from Southwest Michigan
I posted this earlier on another newbie thread, but Hawk, this is for you. I'm 20 minutes southwest of Schoolcraft. I just joined the forum, but I've been wearing kilts regularly since 2007. I made my first kilt, a blackwatch plaid, years earlier as a county fair project. I currently have one black Utilikilt, one brown UT kilt, one homemade camo utility kilt, and a four yard length of 100% wool blackwatch plaid that I wear as a great kilt when the mood strikes. :-) I also have a length of black 100% wool that I am working on making into a casual kilt. I mostly wear the utility style kilts, as they are very convenient and comfortable to wear for working, especially working outdoors. If you get them dirty, they are easy to wash. I wear kilts more often than I wear pants.

Ah yes, thank you Keclea, it's good to have the intro. Looking forward to your input here at XMTS. Post a few photos when you can. Like to see some of those kilts you sport.
