Newbie from STL,MO with a question???
Hello everyone! I've been lurking here for about 2 months now and about a month ago started off my kilt collection with 2 from AmeriKilt. Non-trad, I know, but I think a heavyweight from SWK is just on the horizon.
I've certainly enjoyed my kilts so far -- and look forward to having many more and incorporating more fully into my wardrobe.
now -- here's a question for you (and I may post this elsewhere too) -- I have a wedding to go to in 6 weeks and would like to rent a more traditional full package to wear. However, the wedding is semi-formal and I'd like to find a rental package that includes an Argyll jacket rather than the more formal PC. Most rentals I've found are only for the PC. Any suggestions? Thanks.

A Google of "argyll jacket rental" returns several places that offer the service. Can't vouch for any of them, perhaps somebody here on forum has direct experience, but looks as if it will be relatively easy to find a supplier.
Oh, and welcome aboard!

thanks for the couple replys -- and it's true that "argyle jacket rental" gets me a number of options. Guess just putting in "kilt rental" got me mostly PC results (or else I just didn't look hard enough).
SO -- can anyone actually vouch for a good rental place with an Argyle option?

You can try either Matt at the Scottish Tartans Museum at http://giftshop.scottishtartans.org/rent.html or Kathy Lare at http://www.kathyskilts.com/
And lastly,
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon
