Newish kilt wearer
Hello all, Checking in from Colorado. I have a little bit of Scottish DNA, but decided to wear a kilt because of the awesomeness of it. Recently got my first kilt, a utility kilt from STK. I just purchased a hybrid from Kommando kilts this past weekend, and am buying a third off an Ebay site today. Needless to say, I am hooked. I wear my kilt out and about a lot, but have yet to wear it to work. I don't think my utility kilt is quite office casual, plus I need a vest, as I think a tie and vest look great with a kilt. I am very exited to have found this forum. I am already finding it useful.

Welcome from the English midlands. I agree about the tie and vest - they can take the outfit to a different level.

I don't have a vest yet either, well, I do, but it's being tailored right now for correct fit. Until then, I am able to wear kilts to the office on Fridays and typically wear either a polo or a button down/up shirt with no tie. I'm excited to get my vest since it'll help to create a whole new series of looks for my kilted adventures.
