Norcal Newbie
Hello! My name is Jenny, and I'm a single mother and college student in Oakland. I'm a recent transplant from Eastern Washington State, and I'm in love with the Bay Area. My interest in kilts is new, and encouraged by a friend who purchased their first recently. I have a deep respect for the history and culture of the Scots, and my goal is to have my own kilt before my birthday in mid November. Does anyone have a suggestion for a good website for purchasing women's kilts? I'm shopping on a budget, so that's a factor as well. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to XMarks! I'm right near you and there are several other NorCal Xmarks members.
Can't help on the women's kilts, but several of our forum sponsors and partners offer them.
Also be sure to join the NorCal rabble group.

Welcome from a fellow Washingtonian. If want a made to measure kilt by mid November, you`d best get on it. You could try USA Kilts for a start. If you are willing to pay the rush fee, they can have one to you in 2 to 3 weeks. The casual and the Semi trad are both good products at a good price.
